On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers abducted three Palestinians, including a former mayor, on Palestinian lands near Wadi Fukin village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers abducted the former Mayor of Doha Ra’fat Jawabra, and two former political prisoners, Ala’ Abdul-Karim and Bassel Jawabra.

They added that the three Palestinians were picnicking on lands near the village before the soldiers cuffed and blindfolded them and took them to Etzion military base and security center, south of Bethlehem. The army later released Bassel Jawabra.

The lands where the Palestinians were taken prisoner are a famous destination for the Palestinians in the area but are also subject to repeated Israeli invasions and violations, including attacks by the illegal colonialist settlers.

On Sunday afternoon, Israeli soldiers abducted six Palestinians, including one woman, in occupied Jerusalem, and one Palestinian near Ramallah, in the West Bank.

Earlier Sunday, the soldiers shot four Palestinians and abducted two, including one of the wounded, in Tubas city, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

In related news, Israeli soldiers and the navy attacked Palestinian homes, lands, and fishing boats in Rafah and Khan Younis, in the southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
